Many leaders ask how to design their (post-crisis) leadership. The leadership stance seems to shift from “navigating” towards “exploring” and from “the performative” to “the authentic”. Here I explore a new set of leadership qualities emerging in the leadership landscape.

The crisis we are experiencing isn’t just one thing – it is multi-dimensional. Breaking it down into parts — and giving those parts names — is crucial to our health, safety, and sanity. We are trying to adapt to an entirely new worldview dealing with prolonged uncertainty, excessive worry and anxiety, ambiguous loss, isolation, anticipatory grief, stress and burn-out.

Creativity is a quality that is highly valued in various contexts but is not always well understood. There was a time when the concept of creativity was only associated with writers, painters, musicians and similar people in artistic professions but nowadays the need for creative thinking has transitioned from the arts into the business environment.
